About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Transition team at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative engineering design projects for the energy transition industry.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in multidiscipline energy projects across all execution phases, from early development to construction.
  • Design electrical systems and perform electrical studies on HV, MV, and LV levels.
  • Develop, optimize, and standardize technical solutions within HV, MV, and LV systems.
  • Perform system and area engineering.
  • Develop, optimize, and standardize technical solutions within HV and MV systems.
  • Perform engineering specifications and technical datasheets for HV and MV equipment, including power transformers, shunt reactors, pre-inserted resistors, earthing auxiliary transformers, neutral earthing resistors/reactors, GIS breakers, and cables.
  • Provide input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during the execution phase.
  • Provide input for and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a background in Marine Engineering, B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. Electrical Engineering, or similar. Relevant measurable experience in electrical design within onshore/offshore substations, electrification, power plants, oil and gas, Power-t-X, or similar industries is essential. You should have solid knowledge of HV, MV, and LV design and equipment, specification, and requirements of electrical studies and calculations. Strong oral and written skills in English are also required.
