Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Expert Pharmaceutical Account Development Manager to drive sales growth and development for our key pharmaceutical clients. As a trusted partner, you will work closely with our local organization to engage with assigned customers on a global level, building a deep understanding of their organization, operations, culture, capabilities, and strategy.
You will create and implement a global strategy/plan for your accounts, aligned with Brenntag's global strategy for the pharmaceutical industry. This includes engaging customers in global projects that cover all functions of the Brenntag business, coordinating and managing global projects, and monitoring and appraising the wider pharmaceutical marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global account strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and services
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
- Presentation of Brenntag as a global partner and champion of sustainable practices
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant Life Science or commercial discipline
- Significant experience in account management, preferably in the Life Science sector or related fields
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, self-motivated, and innovative
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written; local language beneficial
- Willingness to undertake significant global travel
