We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at the Department of Physics, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU), and contribute to cutting-edge research in thermal and electrochemical ammonia synthesis.

Salary and Benefits

The appointed researcher will be offered a competitive salary commensurate with their experience, approximately DKK 550,000 - 700,000 per year (approximately USD 80,000 - 100,000), depending on qualifications and seniority. Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, testing, and characterizing novel catalysts for ammonia production using thermal and electrochemical approaches. They will also collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new surface science methods for catalysis research.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates should have a PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science, with a strong background in catalysis, surface science, and experimental techniques. Prior experience with ammonia synthesis, ultra-high vacuum (UHV) techniques, and catalyst testing is highly desirable.
