Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer, Data Platform to join our data engineering team at our headquarters in Billund, Denmark or Copenhagen Digital Hub.

This position does not include a relocation budget. If you're passionate about building software platforms and providing technical leadership, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and leadership for product teams
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other lead engineers
  • Be a part of the Data Platform leadership team
  • Drive complex development work and architecture discussions
Requirements
  • Deep technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure, CI/CD, and API development/design
  • Understanding of domain-driven design and loosely coupled architecture
  • Effective communication skills and ability to drive technical decisions
  • Ability to focus and keep oversight in a constantly evolving environment
  • Solid experience with programming languages like Python and Go
  • Experience with DataBricks, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Spark, Airflow, and monitoring tools like Elastic and PagerDuty
  • Knowledge of data tools like PowerBI, Alteryx, Posit Workbench, Tableau, or SAP BW
