Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall technical delivery of the project, including the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, schedules, and task coordination. They will also oversee budget and cost management, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, risk management, quality assurance, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and task coordination to ensure timely delivery.
  2. Budget and Cost Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and manage cost changes to stay within financial constraints.
  3. Resource Management: Lead and manage the technical project team, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop contingency plans, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of technical project delivery by adhering to standards and best practices.
  7. SDLC Application: Apply the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) appropriately to ensure project success.
  8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of project components.
  9. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving project success.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement practices within the project team.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  2. Experience working with Aveva-PI system, either as a developer or end-user.
  3. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP) related to data integrity and computerized systems validation.
  4. Proficiency in data engineering concepts, data integration, and data management best practices.
  5. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Excellent facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
