Overview of the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Professor of Psychiatric Bioinformatics to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in academic research, excellent leadership skills, and experience in guiding research teams. As a clinical professor, you will be responsible for conducting original scientific research, publishing high-quality papers, and supervising researchers and medical students. You will also be expected to teach at the university level, develop research plans, and engage with external partners to advance knowledge in psychiatric bioinformatics.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct innovative research in psychiatric bioinformatics and neuroscience, resulting in publications and presentations at international conferences.
  • Supervise researchers and medical students, providing guidance on research projects and methodologies.
  • Teach at the university level, developing and delivering courses on psychiatric bioinformatics and related topics.
  • Develop and implement research plans, securing funding from external sources when possible.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including industry leaders and government agencies, to advance knowledge in psychiatric bioinformatics.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
  • A strong track record of original academic production at an international level, with considerable contributions to the development of the academic discipline.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in guiding research teams and engaging with external partners.
  • A deep understanding of psychiatric bioinformatics and neuroscience, with a proven ability to develop and implement research plans.
  • Experience in teaching at the university level, with a strong commitment to student learning and development.
