As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in integrating various technologies within mechanics, optics, electrochemistry, material science, and chemistry into world-class consumables enabling diagnostic measurements through our instruments in hospitals worldwide.

This position is responsible for combining system engineering principles and technical understanding across disciplines to deliver top-notch solutions for customers. You will contribute to the company's ability to provide the best possible outcomes by facilitating complex technical problem-solving, assessing and mitigating technical risks, and collaborating with highly skilled colleagues in different technology areas within R&D.

As part of the Product Integration team in the Sensors, Solutions & Accessory area, you will work closely with Production, Regulatory, Strategic Marketing, and other stakeholders to drive efficient execution and support our ambitious agenda. This role offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Lead development projects and sustainment activities with high technical complexity to ensure expected product performance at the right time and cost
  • Establish requirements, specifications, and related verifications
  • Solve complex challenges by driving alignment and decisions involving multiple technology areas and business needs
  • Build and drive external collaborations to support efficient and robust project results and execution
  • Develop new work processes and drive competency build-up for the newly established team

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Biomechanical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Multiple years of experience working with technically complex solutions combining multiple engineering disciplines
  • Documented experience in bringing products from idea to market using Systems Engineering principles and Design Control
  • A collaborative style of working and ability to drive decision-making on complex problems
  • English language proficiency (written and spoken)
