Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to join our team at Maersk. As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the airfreight sites remain legally compliant, providing advice and guidance on security and business continuity, and leading on security issues of a serious nature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure airfreight sites remain legally compliant and up-to-date with legislative changes.
  • Provide advice and guidance on security and business continuity to internal stakeholders.
  • Lead on security issues of a serious nature and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated.
  • Manage security training requirements and ensure all sites have security risk assessments available.
  • Remain abreast of current legislation and best practice in the industry and advise Maersk accordingly.

Person Specification:

  • Familiarity with in-country security-related legislative requirements.
  • Experience of completing, creating, and reviewing security documentation, including risk assessments and risk registers.
  • Experience of working with various teams to achieve set targets or goals.
  • Ability to manage interaction with multiple departments and 3rd party contractors.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and time management.
  • Ability to present and write presentations.
  • Report writing.
