Job Description:

Vestas is seeking an experienced Site Leader and Project Development professional to join our team. This role offers exciting opportunities for professional and personal growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the Job:

This position will oversee wind farm projects from start to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and budget targets are met. As a key member of the Construction & Operations Department, you will work closely with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of departmental impact on the value chain, focusing on safety, responsibility, and cost-consciousness in project budgets
  • Providing clear direction to Site Managers, delegating tasks effectively, balancing office and remote leadership, and supporting change management
  • Setting and meeting targets and KPIs, allocating resources, and ensuring high safety and quality standards on construction projects
  • Cultivating a positive, collaborative, and safe working environment, resolving team conflicts, and building cross-functional relationships
  • Adapting leadership style and objectives to changing circumstances, promoting flexibility and responsiveness in the team
  • Promoting cultural awareness and open collaboration, ensuring decisions consider diverse perspectives and support an international mindset

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in leading leaders or project managers
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education preferred
  • Solid understanding of management principles and proven people leadership experience
  • Experience in remote management, planning, and coordination
  • Solid knowledge of high-level construction and operational processes
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP

Benefits and Salary:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, Vestas provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location and Travel:

The primary work location is flexible, with options in Aarhus, Arnhem, or Hamburg. Approximately 180 days of travel per year are expected, requiring a valid passport and driver's license.
