Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Authorization Security Expert to join our Global Authorization Expert Team in Lisbon, Portugal. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading global hygiene and health company, Essity Denmark A/S, on a business process transformation program involving SAP S4/Hana implementation.

About the Role

This position involves reviewing, analyzing, and approving access to SAP systems in compliance with security standards and user access controls. You will also be responsible for challenging users to ensure access aligns with job roles and responsibilities and reducing segregation of duty conflicts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review, analyze, and approve access to SAP systems, ensuring compliance with Essity's security standards and user access controls.
  2. Challenge users to ensure access aligns with job roles and responsibilities and reduce segregation of duty conflicts.
  3. Interact and coordinate with various business stakeholders, facilitating timely execution of user access reviews.
  4. Analyze SU53/Trace system error logs to identify user access and authentication issues, working with SAP security-related tables, SUIM, etc.
  5. Design, build, and test SAP roles, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure proper controls are in place.
  6. Support SAP GRC Access Control, including user provisioning analysis/approvals, segregation of duty management, emergency access, and role management.
  7. Manage incidents, troubleshoot, and interact directly with business stakeholders and end-users.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SAP (ECC and S/HANA) security/authorization roles and profiles.
  • SAP security and authorizations technical skills and understanding.
  • Knowledge about segregation of duty risks and mitigating controls.
  • Experience in SAP GRC support (Access Control Modules); configuration and maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience supporting user access across multiple SAP modules and systems (S/4, EWM, ECC, BW, SRM, Ariba, Portal, PO, Gateway).
  • Awareness of basic Information Security principles.
  • Good working knowledge of authorization reporting and troubleshooting transaction codes/tools, solving security incident tickets.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluency in English language.
