Overview of the Job

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices. The HR department will consist of you and an assistant.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Leadership Team Support: Provide people sparring partnership for the leadership team.
  3. Employee Engagement: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  4. Talent Sourcing: Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees.
  5. Performance Enhancement: Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  6. Compensation and Benefits: Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  7. Learning and Development: Assess training needs to apply and conduct training programs.
  8. Business Intelligence: Provide decision support through HR metrics.
  9. Compliance Assurance: Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  10. Reporting Lines: Report directly to the CEO.

Requirements

  • Background: Proven working experience within HR, HR Manager, Executive Assistant.
  • Personal Qualities: People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Metrics Experience: Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Leadership Abilities: Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Relationship Building: Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Knowledge Base: In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Degree Requirements: Degree in Human Resources or related field.
