About this Position

This role involves leading the team responsible for managing risk and ensuring safe operations in our energy projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantitative risk assessments (QRA) and fire- and explosions risk assessments (FERA). Responsibilities include:

  • \
  • Leading and coordinating work for QRA and FERA.\
  • Developing guidelines, tools and templates for risk management.\
  • Guiding the development of capabilities and guidelines for dispersion modelling and fire/explosion modelling.\
  • Maintaining good understanding of mathematical modelling of physical phenomena and frequency modelling.\
  • Familiarity with legislation framework for major accident hazards.\
  • Experience in dialogue with Authorities.\
  • Knowledge of CFD-software and relevant QRA software.\
  • Extensive background in physics, mathematics or related field.\
  • Expertyse in mitigating risks associated with industrial processes.\
  • Capacity to contribute to company's knowledge base.\
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.\
