Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Tinytots International Daycare & Preschool in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lesson Planning and Implementation: Plan engaging activities and lessons that align with the overall curriculum framework.
  2. Maintaining a Safe Learning Environment: Ensure the learning space is clean, hygienic, and safe for children at all times.
  3. Observation and Record-Keeping: Assist in observing and recording children's growth, development, and behavior.
  4. Communication and Teamwork: Build strong relationships with children, families, administration, and staff through effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
  1. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (minimum C1 level, IELTS band 7 and above) is required; Danish language skills are not necessary.
  2. Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Education or Early Childhood Education is preferred, along with 2-3 years of experience in early years teaching in a nursery or kindergarten setting.
  3. Positive Behaviour Management: Demonstrable experience in Positive Behaviour Management is essential.
  4. Certification and Pedagogy: Certification in Montessori or equivalent demonstrable experience in implementing Montessori pedagogy is an added advantage.
Personal Qualities:
  1. Passion for Working with Children: Be creative, patient, and caring when working with children.
  2. Literacy and Communication Skills: Engage and extend children's learning through play while possessing sound written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Teamwork and Flexibility: Demonstrate great team spirit while also being able to work independently, and be flexible in sharing tasks typical of a small dynamic organisation.
  4. Cultural Sensitivity: Thrive in a truly international environment and show cultural sensitivity.
