Indian Cuisine Specialist Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Cuisine Specialist Chef to join our team in Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a chef, with a strong background in Indian cuisine, particularly in preparing curries and rotis.

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori specialties, and traditional bread like rotis.
• Work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment, managing multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes.
• Design and develop innovative menus that showcase the diversity of Indian cuisine while considering local preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create appealing and visually stunning plating presentations that enhance the dining experience.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices at all times, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on Indian cooking techniques, recipe execution, and menu development.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in procurement to ensure availability of fresh ingredients and essential spices for Indian cooking.
• Stay updated on current food trends, culinary techniques, and traditional Indian recipes to continually enhance the restaurant's offerings.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a chef, with a specialization in Indian cuisine.
• Proficient in preparing a wide range of Indian dishes, with expertise in curry and roti making.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Previous experience working in an Indian restaurant setting is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Creativity and passion for food, with the ability to design innovative menus and present dishes attractively.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
