The Opportunity

Dreamdata is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to serve as our dedicated Tracking Specialist. In this role, you will act as the technical bridge between our product and our customers. You won't just be closing tickets; you will be a proactive problem solver who empowers our commercial teams and guides our customers through complex technical implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert: Act as a point person for 2nd-level support regarding tracking scripts, data ingestion, and frontend integration. Assisting teammates on customer calls on relevant subject matters.
  • Diagnose & Debug: Investigate and resolve complex tracking logic issues (JavaScript, HTML, Cookies, API calls) for customers.
  • Empower Internal Teams: Provide technical guidance and training to the Sales and Customer Success teams to help educate and upscale internal knowledge.
  • Knowledge Management: Update and maintain the design, build, and content of our Help Center that powers our chatbot. 
  • Triage & Escalate: Efficiently manage the support queue, solving technical tickets and escalating valid bugs to Engineering with clear reproduction steps.

Who You Are

  • A Technical "Detective": You enjoy the challenge of debugging frontend code and tracing data discrepancies.
  • An Educator: You have strong spoken and written English skills and can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • An Organizer: You can take a project and manage it from start to finish.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of work or education experience working with frontend development or advanced implementation of tracking scripts (Google Tag Manager, Segment).
  • Data Fluency: Experience writing SQL queries to investigate data within Data Warehouses (BigQuery).
  • Support Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role (SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Web Fundamentals: Deep understanding of how browsers work (Local Storage, Cookies, Cross-domain tracking).
