About The Role
As an Intelligence Advisor specializing in Internal Threats, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating insider risks, both for Truesec and our clients. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing intelligence related to potential or active insider threats, supporting proactive defense, and incident response efforts. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening our clients' resilience against internal risks and advancing Truesec's position as a trusted cybersecurity partner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor internal and external sources for indicators of insider threats, such a anomalous behavior, policy violations, or other risk signals.
• Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response teams during suspected insider incidents, providing intelligence support and context.
• Conduct risk assessments of processes, systems, and user activities to identify vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with IT security, HR, legal, and compliance to ensure a holistic approach to insider threat management.
• Support the development and delivery of insider threat awareness and training programs.
• Leverage and optimize technical tools (such as SIEM, UEBA, DLP) to enhance insider threat detection and automation capabilities.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tactics, and regulatory requirements relating to insider threats, and recommend improvements to Truesec's Insider Threat Prevention Program.
• Represent Truesec as a subject matter expert in the financial sector and intelligence community, participating in international forums, conferences, and professional groups.
• Produce clear, actionable intelligence reports and briefings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Background

• Proven operational experience in intelligenc and internal threat domains.
• Educational degree within Intelligence Studies, Data Analysis, Criminal Justice, or any other related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Python).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with intelligence-gathering techniques, risk assessment, and threat analysis.

Bonus points:

• Experience working within the finance sector
• Experience wowrking with project management principles and tools such as Obsidian Kanban & Projects

Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Danish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Danish work permit.
