We're looking for a People Lead to join our Virtual Asset Design (VAD) Leadership team within LEGO Design - a diverse, world-class team driven by creativity collaboration, and continuous innovation.

This is a 12-month temporary parental cover, with a starting date ideally as of 1st of February 2026. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core ResponsibilitiesAs a VAD Senior Manager within the LEGO Design organization, you will be leading a team of D Artists and will be part of the daily production towards various customers, demands and pipeline. Working closely with VAD planners and scrum masters, you will help drive efficient daily production and streamline agile workflows across multiple projects and priorities.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will cover:- Lead productive team meetings to ensure effective sharing of updates, strategies, and goals, while promoting teamwork and encouraging the team.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to empower and support team members' growth through coaching, honest feedback, clear communication of goals and active listening.
- Responsibility for various VAD products, tools, processes and alignment with partners on current and future demand and format.
- Actively engage in multiple internal projects to collect input, define requirements, and align on priorities.
- Promoting and facilitating a continuous improvement culture in our team and ways of working.
- Responsibility for driving and implementing agile ways of working across all collaborators and demands.
- Lead by example and champion diversity and inclusion, cultivating a positive, collaborative and trusting work culture through empathy and open communication.
Virtual Assets Design is the basic creator of all 3D and animated digital elements. We support the LEGO Group's digital workflow by modeling, texturing and simplifying of assets for the building instructions, packaging, marketing, digital media and pipelines including both high fidelity rendering as well as games and other real-time experiences.
Do you have what it takes?The ideal candidate may bring a degree within Business or Leadership and/or brings proven experience leading technical specialists. Experience with developing the environment of 3D, VFX, gaming or similar would be beneficial, though not a requirement. Using scrum and/or agile ways of working are natural to you and have been a part of your environment and methods for some years. Moreover, you:
- Bring an appetite to facilitate development of the digital pipeline by challenging solutions for systems and processes for various digital demands, taking initiative and ownership when driving solutions.
- Contribute to a culture built on teamwork, respect, and inclusivity.
- Bring strong stakeholder management, communication and change management skills.
- Bring solid business and value chain understanding.
- Might bring a technical 3D understanding and familiarity with Autodesk Maya, Adobe package, Unreal or Unity.
- Demonstrate a willingness to grow and improve your own leadership abilities
- Possess advanced English language skills.
