About the role

As Senior Gas Spot Trader, you will play a key role in driving NET's commercial performance across European gas markets. You will operate in a dynamic environment where speed, insight, and disciplined execution matter, and where your decisions have direct commercial impact.

In this position, you will also contribute to the development of the trading team through knowledge sharing, coaching of junior traders, and active involvement in improving tools and processes.

What you will do

• Monitor and analyse developments in the European gas market.
• Identify and execute spot trading opportunities across European hubs.
• Optimise portfolio positions to support commercial performance.
• Act on market movements and market-driven opportunities in real time.
• Ensure effective operational coordination, including nominations and communication with key stakeholders.
• Use advanced execution tools to support trading efficiency.
• Manage exposure within mandate and maintain strong risk and compliance discipline.
• Support junior traders and contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes.
• Provide sparring on the strategic composition of the assets.
