Leading our approach to learning globally
Coloplast is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to pioneer and lead a transformative approach to learning within our organization. As the Learning Practice Lead, you will play a crucial role in establishing a culture of continuous learning, emphasizing that 90% of learning and development occurs outside of the classroom
Reporting to Lauren Bedard Thomsen, you join the Global Talent & Organizational Development team alongside 10 fellow experts defining our global approaches to Talent, Leadership, Learning, and Culture.
We are a strong, global people and culture community in a company where we work collaboratively across teams and borders to ensure that we create products and approaches that serve our global organisation. You will take ownership of building a learning community across our countries and business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Framework Establishment: Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for learning at Coloplast – defining and anchoring what we believe about the importance of learning and how we go about it in our organisaton
Learning Library Management: Curate and create a diverse learning library hosted on our LMS (Learn It), encompassing various modalities such as articles, podcasts, books, videos, courses, workshops, coaching, mentoring, and stretch assignments.
Learning and Development Plans: Own and define our approach to building learning and development plans, aligning them with our performance and personal development conversation platform, Partner 2 Grow.
Expert Guidance: Serve as an expert in differentiating between learning and training, advising colleagues on creating effective learning experiences, and structuring and anchoring knowledge.
Collaboration and Support: Work closely with colleagues in talent, performance management, engagement, and leadership to collaborate on shared projects and agendas, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Innovation and Creativity: Embrace the opportunity for creativity and innovation in establishing a new way of working with learning, ensuring it is embedded in everything we do.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and leading learning and development initiatives (L&D)
- Experience in creating frameworks for on-the-job learning and development.
- Proficiency in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ensuring positive employee and leader experience.
- Project management experience is essential.
- Fluent in English.
Additional Preferences:
- Experience in MedTech, pharma, or manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into effective learning approaches.
- Enthusiasm for thinking big and taking on challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, serving as a sparring partner and collaborator.
