Join our newly established Global Health & Safety function to help build an ISO 45001‑certified, high‑performing safety system that protects people and enables business performance. You will design and scale a fit for purpose HSMS with supporting digital toolset, and elevate HS performance through data, audits, and AI-enabled insights.

You'll turn complex HS requirements into clear governance and trusted insights, giving leaders confidence and teams practical tools to act. Through your efforts, enhanced compliance will be established, risks will be reduced, and a prevention-first safety culture will be cultivated across the organization.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Work with both internal and external stakeholders like local H&S departments, Sustainability, Operational Management, Site managers, AI Project management and Certifying Bodies - on operational, tactical and strategic levels.

• Ensure and manage a global ISO 45001 multisite certification.
• Own the internal audit program and provide support for external audits.
• Own and evolve the HS Management System (policies, procedures, document control, governance, management reviews).
• Plan and execute global rollout—onboarding sites, implementing change, and building local ownership (RACI, competencies)
• Support the development and implementation of AI‑enabled HS tools; hazard/incident reporting, case handling, risk assessments, contractor management, audits, dashboards etc. to improve visibility, speed, and decision quality.
• Define the HS data model and standards; assure data quality, lineage, secure access, and integration with core systems.
• Deliver clear leadership reporting on certification status, risks, performance, and priorities.
• Develop and deliver ISO 45001‑aligned training for HS managers, auditors, and superusers (train‑the‑trainer).
• Deliver detailed reports on both proactive and reactive KPIs
• Champion a prevention‑first, empowering, and just HS culture.

The role is located at GN's Headquarters in Ballerup, with global span.

Travel Requirements: 20 +days per year

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you have:

• Hold a master's degree, which is a requirement for this role.
• Extensive HS experience in international/multisite environments.
• Experience with HS platform configuration and workflow design (incident, risk, audit, CAPA).
• Deep knowledge of ISO 45001, HS processes, legal compliance, and document control.
• ISO 45001 auditor certification and audit leadership experience.
• HSMS design and rollout experience, program & change management.
• HS reporting proficiency: KPI design, dashboards with traceability to source data.
• Proficient communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• A positive, pragmatic, and solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to balance aspirations with practical execution and collaboration.
