Safety Data Manager – Safety Data & Systems

This role involves close cooperation with IT, PV specialists, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Your role

You will play a key role in driving operational excellence across our pharmacovigilance (PV) systems and IT workflows. You will be responsible for coordinating critical system activities, ensuring effective data handling and reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient processes. You will manage and update the team's task backlog in Azure DevOps daily, align with IT on user stories, and keep stakeholders informed with regular updates.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate dry runs, regression testing, and write/validate test scripts in line with compliance standards.
• Prepare validation documentation and develop PV process and training material.
• Participate in projects, data quality tasks, configure PV systems, optimise efficiency, and maintain team backlog in ADO.
• Build, maintain and validate safety reports & dashboards, based on user requirements.
• Partner across teams and borders on requirements and process improvements, and provide timely operational/technical support.
• Maintain and update the teams task backlog (Azure DevOps / ADO) daily, align with IT teams on user stories, and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications/experience:

• Degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, IT, data analytics, or related discipline.
• Proven experience with PV systems (Veeva Safety Vault, HaloPV, ARGUS, LSVM or similar), Test Management applications and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualisation and report building.
• Knowledge of testing coordination, validation requirements, working with GxP data and change management.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a collaborative approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both cross-functionally and across borders.
