Finance Business Partner

On behalf of Danhydra A/S, Compass HRG is searching for a skilled and business-oriented Finance Business Partner to join the international supplier of tools and services for the global wind industry.

A key role in qualifying business decisions and supporting growth

Danhydra is experiencing significant growth, and with that comes a need for sharper financial insight and stronger business support. As Finance Business Partner, you will play a central role in building a solid financial foundation for decision making and contribute to Danhydra's continued international expansion.

You will be part of the Group Finance team, reporting directly to Group Finance Manager, Thomas Hedegaard. Your main focus will be to support the Customized Tools business unit, while also collaborating widely across functions and geographies. The position is based at the company headquarters in Herning, with global exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver systematic and timely analysis of planned vs. actual performance.
• Provide financial insights and data to support well-founded business decisions.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving high-quality master data.
• Develop, document, and optimize internal business processes in close collaboration with colleagues across the organization.
• Perform cost and project controlling.
• Participate in monthly and annual closing activities.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Act as a key user and sparring partner in the use of Business Central and Power BI.

Combining financial expertise with collaboration and initiative

You hold a relevant degree in Finance or Business Economics and bring 3–5 years of experience from a similar role, ideally from a production, service, or project-based environment. You understand cost price calculations, including BOMs and routes, and know how to translate financial insights into practical guidance for the business.

You have a strong grasp of systems and data, with solid experience in Power BI and a natural flair for ERP systems. Experience with Business Central will be a clear advantage. You are motivated by using data to create transparency, challenge assumptions, and support growth, and you thrive in an environment where development and change are part of everyday life.

As a person, you combine analytical structure with a pragmatic approach. You communicate complex financial information clearly and credibly, and you enjoy collaborating across functions to find the best solutions. You take initiative when you see room for improvement, follow through on your ideas, and take pride in contributing to progress – both within the finance team and across the wider organization.
