Director, Employee Engagement Analytics

Core Responsibilities
As a Director of Employee Engagement Analytics, you will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of advanced employee listening and engagement analytics. You will:
- Set the vision and strategy for employee engagement analytics, embedding robust academic methodologies and best practices in organizational research and advanced AI-enabled analytical approaches
- Design and govern global listening programs (Pulse, engagement, lifecycle surveys, and ad-hoc feedback) ensuring methodological rigor, cultural sensitivity, and scientific validity and opportunities to integrate AI-driven listening capabilities
- Translate data into action through advanced statistical analysis, segmentation, and predictive modelling—delivering insights that shape leadership decisions and organizational priorities.
- Apply evidence-based frameworks from psychology, sociology, behavioral science, and organizational studies to enrich insights and strengthen recommendations.
- Lead research collaborations with external academic institutions, professional networks, and research communities to ensure the LEGO Group remains at the forefront of employee engagement science.
- Mentor and develop a team of employee engagement analysts and consultants, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, methodological discipline, and innovative problem-solving and responsible experimentation with AI technologies
- Ensure governance and ethics in the collection, analysis, and application of employee data – particularly in the development and use of AI models - upholding LEGO values of integrity, responsibility, and care.

The People Insights & Analytics team plays a key role in shaping the future of our organization. We cover the full data value chain — from developing digital and analytics products, managing our Data Foundation and BI solutions, to delivering strategic insights that guide decisions across the business. Our Insight Partners support a broad range of critical HR portfolios, including Talent Acquisition, Strategic Workforce Planning, Workplace Experience, Rewards, Wellbeing, and Diversity & Inclusion. This role sits within our Employee Engagement Analytics (EEA) part of the team, where we design, execute, and analyze a wide range of employee surveys and research topics to help strengthen the LEGO Group colleague experience. Our team is based across two locations: Denmark and London.
Do You Have What It Takes?
We are looking for a thought leader who blends academic depth with real-world impact, an educational background (Master's required; PhD strongly preferred) in Organizational Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Science or a related field combined with extensive experience in people analytics, employee engagement, or organizational research, with proven impact at a senior leadership level. In addition, we expect that you bring:
- Expertise in survey methodology, psychometrics, and applied statistical techniques (regression, multilevel modelling, structural equation modelling, text analytics, predictive models).
- Demonstrated ability to translate rigorous research into practical, actionable insights for executive decision-makers.
- Experience designing and leading large-scale employee engagement and organizational culture programs in a global environment.
- Strong skills in data visualization and insight communication (experience with tools such as R, Python, Qualtrics, Tableau, or Power BI).
- A track record of publishing or presenting research in relevant professional or academic forums is a plus.
- Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
