Core Responsibilities

As Capacity Manager Specialist, you will be responsible for the forecasting and capacity management primarily, within a 3-18 month horizon. More specifically, you will:

  • Establish and maintain collaboration between capacity owners, planners and internal partners.
  • Be part of Elements & Moulds (E&M) internal S&OP process.
  • Develop and maintain forecast and capacity processes for E&M.
  • Produce and report detailed and reliable forecasts, ensuring alignment to agreed forecast pace.
  • Perform capacity simulations and build detailed global capacity overviews to ensure balanced supply and demand.
  • Proactively identify future bottlenecks in the E&M Supply Chain and facilitate back-on-track actions when needed.
  • Align yearly capacity thresholds across the E&M Supply Chain.
  • Drive initiatives that improve the current tactical and strategic planning process.
  • Participate in projects that automate and enhance tactical planning processes (e.g., simulation capability).
  • Contribute to the implementation of new functional areas within E&M.

In E&M department, we work with the development, production, and qualification of moulds that produce LEGO bricks You will be a part of our Planning & Capacity Management team, consisting of 12 Capacity and Demand Managers, crunching numbers, analyzing supply chain complexity, and navigating complex partner landscape to ensure balance between capacity and demand.

Collaboration is key to our success. You will proactively search for and analyze key insights, working together with your fellow managers to collectively find innovative, data-driven solutions to current and future challenges. As such, you will apply your expertise to recommend when and where to adjust capacity to meet demand.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in demand and capacity planning, supply chain analytics, forecasting, processes and continuous improvements. Furthermore, you have:

  • Experience working for midsize and/or large international production companies with a global footprint, preferably related to engineering.
  • Strong operational and tactical understanding of capacity and demand planning management.
  • Proven track record in understanding complex engineering supply chains.
  • A strong independent communicator who enjoys working in a team setting and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment with evolving functional requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience with planning tools such as SAP.
  • Experience with Anaplan and Kinaxis is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
