This position offers a unique opportunity to lead consumer marketing in the field of Alzheimer's Disease in Novo Nordisk

Your new role

In this role, you will define the strategic direction for patient and care partner activation, lead key strategic initiatives, and manage external partners to ensure successful project delivery. You will be responsible for executing in alignment with the global launch strategy, working closely with the HCP marketing team, US team and other key markets, and following strategic guidance from the Global Marketing VP.

You will further strengthen the consumer marketing strategy for diagnosed and undiagnosed patients and their care partners by setting priorities and defining the key projects needed for implementation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the consumer marketing strategy in alignment with the go-to-market and brand strategies and in close collaboration with the Alzheimer's Disease cross-functional teams and regional partners

  • Translating strategy into actionable consumer-facing plans, including the development of consumer-facing value propositions, messaging, and assets, that meet medical, regulatory and legal requirements

  • Leading in-depth analysis of patients and care partner insights based on both primary and secondary intelligence, ensuring a solid insights base on patient, care partner, and HCP behaviours, needs, and barriers to seek diagnosis and treatment

  • Driving the development of digital and omni-channel strategy toward activation of the consumer segments

All of this will be done in close collaboration with colleagues across the global team, working cross-functionally and with regions and strategic markets to ensure strong market fit and full organizational readiness for launch.

Your new department

You will join Strategy Marketing in Diabetes&, a high-paced and collaborative team responsible for the global commercial strategies in the areas of Diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease. The team consists of people working on commercial strategy, marketing and organisational readiness, all working closely together to deliver impactful commercial execution.

Your skills and qualifications

  • An academic degree within business, marketing or other relevant field

  • +7 years of broad strategic commercial experience in pharma, with a strong record of leading initiatives related to therapy area development and consumer directed initiatives

  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior in healthcare and patient journeys

  • Strong strategic thinking, cross-functional influencing and project management

  • Experience with HCP strategic marketing core deliverables and packages for launch, digital marketing, analytics, and omnichannel campaign execution - considered an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills, medical literacy and stakeholder management

  • Experience within Neuroscience and Alzheimer's considered an advantage
