Data Scientist with interest in Machine Learning

Therefore, we need you to help us in the role as data scientist in our Group Big Data & AI team. You will be working on our brand new Autorola Big Data Platform were we have our datalake, our Databricks and our Amazon tools like Sagemaker for Machine Learning and Bedrock for Generative AI. It will be a natural part of the job to explore how we best possibly utilize new data and AI technologies. Together with 7 highly dedicated colleagues with several years of experience, you will be working with the business to explore how data and AI can create real value across our global platform.

Your Role as Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist in the Group Big Data & AI team, you'll be part of a collaborative team working at the intersection of data, technology, and business. You'll help us turn data into insights, and insights into action via predictive models, data analysis and AI.

You'll contribute to ongoing initiatives, while also helping shape new ones. This is a great opportunity if you have a couple of years of experience in analytics or BI and want to grow your skills in machine learning and Generative AI.

Examples of projects you will be working on is:

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns and opportunities
• Build data pipelines to support decision-making and report on input- and output data quality.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers and Product Managers on new machine learning experiments
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of machine learning models for text and image data
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Be accountable for the machine learning models and data models you deploy in our production environment
• Support on expanding our datalake and our Big Data and AI platform with the rest of the team

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 1–2 years of experience in data science, BI, or a similar data-focused role. Orhas a strong desire to learn combined with strong academic results
• Is comfortable working with Big Data in SQL and Python
• Is eager to learn more about machine learning and Generative AI
• Enjoys working in a collaborative and cross-functional environment
• Communicates clearly and is not afraid to ask questions or challenge assumptions
