What you will do:
This is a junior hybrid role where you will handle inbound leads from the Trades industry while gradually developing your outreach and cold calling skills. You will qualify potential customers, book meetings, run intro calls, and support the early sales cycle - all with a strong focus on learning and becoming a key sales driver in the US market.
You will become an important part of our Sales team in Aarhus and work closely with teammates who also focus on the US, ensuring strong collaboration across time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Handling
- Lead Qualification:
Quickly qualify inbound leads from the Trades industry to understand their needs, business setup, and potential fit.
- Engage New Trials:
Reach out to all the Trades companies starting a Plecto trial and all relevant inbound activity.
- Booking Meetings:
Ensure qualified leads book and attend product demos with senior sales reps.
- Fast Response:
React fast to inbound leads to maximize conversion.
Outbound Prospecting & Cold Calling
- The Trades Market Focus:
Identify and reach out to new Trades companies that match our ICP.
- Cold Calling Practice:
Over time, take on more outbound calling responsibilities to build pipeline.
- Email & Social Outreach:
Support prospecting efforts using multiple outreach channels.
Sales Support & Early Cycle Ownership
- Discovery Calls:
Conduct first calls to understand customer goals and guide them toward the right next step.
- Value Communication:
Clearly present how Plecto helps the Trades teams track performance, improve motivation, and hit targets.
- Handover:
Transfer qualified opportunities smoothly to senior AEs and Partner Managers.
Operations & Time Zone Flexibility
- CRM Hygiene:
Keep all customer data and pipeline movements updated and accurate in HubSpot.
- Time Zone Alignment:
Work overlapping hours with the US-focused team. Your standard working hours will be from including 30 minutes meal break), ensuring alignment with US customers.
- Team Collaboration:
You won't be working alone in the evening - you'll be part of our team serving the US market.

Required Experience
- Experience:
0–2 years in sales or a commercial role - some sales experience is an advantage but not required.
- Communication:
Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone.
- Tech Savvy:
Comfortable learning new systems and explaining software in a simple way.
- Systems:
Experience with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) is a plus but not required.
- Language:
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
