The position
As our new
Facility Manager & Receptionist
, you'll be the heartbeat of our office – the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while greeting guests with a smile up front. You'll help us create an attractive, welcoming, and safe workplace that encourages collaboration and reflects our values. You'll be a part of a small team and you'll report to the Finance Director Denmark & Iceland.

In addition to overseeing the daily running of the buildings, you'll also be responsible for the reception area and team. That means being the face of the company for visitors, ensuring a professional yet warm first impression, and managing the receptionist who support our office operations. You'll personally staff the reception approximately two days per week and make sure everything from coffee machines to meeting rooms works like a charm. During vacation periods you will staff the reception full time.

You'll handle everything from tenant agreements and physical security to facility services like renovation projects, cleaning, and other service functions. Your mission? A safe, functional, and welcoming office that lets employees focus on what they do best.

Your Daily Tasks May Include

• Implement and drive facility management strategies
• Ensure that the office is statutory compliant at all times
• Secure the right suppliers and follow up on performance and SLAs
• Oversee renovation and restructuring projects
• Drive and implement building security
• Ensure business continuity and emergency response planning
• Responsible for local work environment and sustainability efforts
• Manage and oversee the reception area and team
• Staff the reception approximately 2 days per week and ensure a welcoming and professional front desk experience
• Coordinate front desk procedures, visitor management, and internal service requests

What We Are Looking For
You're not just organized and proactive – you're also approachable and welcoming, and love creating a great atmosphere. You thrive on solving problems hands-on and making sure people feel taken care of. Furthermore, we expect you to have:

• Relevant experience in a medium to large-sized office in an in-house facility management role
• Knowledge of legislation around work environment, health, office safety and security, and experience working actively with these matters
• Experience in procurement and sourcing
• Experience in managing front desk operations and leading staff
• Fluent in English
