Process Design Engineer - 6 months - Aarhus

We're looking for a technically skilled Process Design Engineer to support our customers sales team in delivering tailored process solutions. You'll be responsible for creating P&IDs, specifying process equipment, and translating customer needs into robust system designs.

Start: 1st of November

Duration: 6 months

Location: Aarhus - 3 days/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update P&IDs for customer-specific projects
  • Specify process equipment (mixers, tanks, valves, pumps, heat exchangers)
  • Support sales team with technical input during customer dialogues
  • Prepare process flow diagrams, system descriptions, and layout drawings
  • Align with internal teams (automation, mechanical, project management)
  • Assist in quotation preparation and cost estimation
  • Ensure compliance with hygienic design standards (EHEDG, FDA, etc.)
  • Occasionally support commissioning or troubleshooting on-site

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar
  • Experience with P&ID development and process design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar)
  • Familiarity with liquid processing systems
  • Knowledge of food, beverage, or pharma industry standards
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
