As Assortment Planner at LIEWOOD, you will play a key role in shaping our product offering across categories, channels, and markets.

Your core responsibility will be to develop, deliver, and maintain data-driven assortment plans for seasonal collections, capsules, and our ESSENTIALS "always-on" program - ensuring a relevant, profitable, and brand-aligned product mix.

You will tailor assortments for specific customer segments, price architectures, and market needs, supporting both B2B and D2C strategies, while driving exclusive and region-specific product initiatives.

Working closely with Design, Buying, Merchandising, Commercial, and Marketing, you will leverage insights from sales and market data to optimize the product range, identify growth opportunities, and support go-to-market execution.

This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution - ideal for someone who thrives on balancing analytical precision with creative, commercial thinking.

You will be based at our Copenhagen HQ, joining a collaborative, design-driven, and ambitious brand in a pivotal stage of growth.

The position is a maternity cover (10-12m)

Key Responsibilities

Assortment & Range Planning

  • Develop and maintain assortment plans for seasonal collections, capsules, and the ESSENTIALS range, ensuring consistency across categories and seasons.
  • Create tailored assortments for different markets, segments, and channels (B2B and D2C), balancing brand expression and commercial performance.
  • Analyze historical performance, market data, and trends to inform future collection planning and identify assortment gaps or opportunities.
  • Establish target RRPs and price ladders, ensuring competitive positioning and alignment with margin and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Category & GTM to align assortment strategy with overall category direction, product lifecycle, and commercial priorities.

Collection Planning & Execution

  • Contribute to annual and seasonal collection frameworks, supporting the full yearly collection cycle in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Design and Buying to ensure assortments reflect market demand, brand values, and pricing strategy.
  • Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes to ensure efficient planning and execution across departments.
  • Provide data-driven assortment recommendations for GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies and sales tools.

Analysis, Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver actionable insights through sales, margin, and performance analysis, enabling informed decision-making for future assortments.
  • Prepare and present data-backed recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor product, market, and consumer trends to maintain a competitive and relevant offering.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in data-driven assortment or merchandise planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of product, brand, and market dynamics, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing, margin, and profitability drivers.
  • Clear and confident communication and presentation skills.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a structured, detail-oriented working style.
