You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of configurations while driving automation, continuous integration, and efficient software delivery.
DevOps Engineer
Key Responsibilities
As DevOps Engineer you are responsible for:
Configuration Management
- Develop and implement robust configuration management plans, ensuring the consistency and traceability of software and hardware configurations.
- Oversee version control, release management, and change control processes to maintain a controlled and well-documented configuration environment.
- Establish and maintain version control for software and hardware components.
- Oversee the branching, merging, and tagging processes to manage the release and deployment of configurations.
Build and Release Management
- Coordinate and manage build and release processes, ensuring that software and hardware configurations are released in a controlled and timely manner.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate build and deployment processes.
DevOps Practices
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices within the organization.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and tools for configuration tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Ensure that infrastructure provisioning is consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled.
- Manage development, testing, staging, and production environments, ensuring alignment with configurations.
- Implement strategies for dynamic and scalable environments to support development and testing needs.

Essential Competencies
You're someone who has:
- Proven experience in configuration management and DevOps practices.
- Strong proficiency in configuration management tools (GitHub preferred) and version control systems (Git preferred).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., DevOps, GitHub CI)
- Excellent English and German communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
You're someone who (may) have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Scripting and coding skills (e.g., C#, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
