Are you ready to drive growth in the industry and utility market in in EMEA – both through distributors and direct sales? Do you have a sharp mind for maintaining costumers, creating sales and have an outgoing and trusting nature? As Sales Manager you will grow DESMI's Industry & Utility business across selected North-West European markets—primarily via distributors, and when relevant through direct sales. You build trust, maintain long-term partnerships, and collaborate closely with global DESMI colleagues to deliver technical, commercial, and service excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the Industry & Utility markets in EMEA through a strong distributor network and targeted direct sales.
- Own the follow-up: plan visits, capture actions, and coordinate seamlessly with global sales, service, and product teams.
- Prepare quotations (technical & commercial), craft optimal technical solutions, conduct sales negotiations, and finalize contracts.
- Act as the link between distributors and DESMI functions (Sales Support, Project & Engineering, Order Management, Vertical Teams).
- Drive sales for pumps & spare parts across relevant applications such as data centers, district heating & cooling, waste-to-energy/CHP, chemicals & process, food & beverage, paint & ink, soap & detergents, asphalt & bitumen, utilities, wastewater, desalination, HVAC.
- Represent DESMI at exhibitions, seminars, and customer workshops.

As a Sales Manager, we are looking for a motivated & outgoing personwho is aself-driven individual with a deep understanding of the entire Industry & Utility market
- Technical degree (engineer, marine engineer or similar) ideally combined with commercial training; strong technical understanding.
- Experience with pumps and B2B sales is an advantage.
- Fluent English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
- Open, outgoing, and a strong communicator.
- Solution-oriented with a sharp focus on customer needs.
- Independent, goal-oriented, structured, and results-driven
