Do you want to take the lead on information security and compliance in an international company – and shape the way we work with security?

At NIS, we are looking for an experienced Security & Compliance Officer to drive our security programs and ensure compliance with key international standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, DORA).

This is a central role where you'll maintain and advance our security posture, manage certifications and audits, and collaborate closely with both leadership and colleagues across the business. Your work will directly influence how NIS continues to meet the highest standards of security and compliance as we grow globally.

Your role – secure, lead, influence

In this role, you'll:

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2, GDPR and DORA
  • Lead certification and audit processes (internal & external)
  • Own and evolve our ISMS and security policies
  • Drive risk assessments, incident response and lessons learned
  • Oversee implementation of security controls and tooling (SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, IAM)
  • Act as the go-to person for all things security and compliance

What we're looking for

You bring both expertise and drive. Ideally, you:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with 
    ISO 27001
     implementation and audits
  • Hold one or more key certifications (ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISM, CISSP – others like CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, or CIPP-E are a plus)
  • Have hands-on experience with ISO 27001 implementation and audits
  • Understand SOC 2, GDPR and other relevant frameworks (DORA a plus)
  • Are comfortable working with modern security tools (Microsoft 365 Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Azure, SIEM, EDR/XDR, etc.)
  • Can translate regulatory requirements into practical, effective controls
  • Communicate clearly – and enjoy working across both technical and non-technical teams
