Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Saxo Bank Full time

Copenhagen, Denmark

About The Job
We are expanding our AML Quality Team in Copenhagen, which is currently transforming.

As a Quality Assurance AML Analyst or Senior Analyst, your role will involve developing quality standards, conducting tests, identifying issues in onboarding and ODD processes, and reporting. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create policies and processes that ensure a zero-defect quality culture.

As a QA AML Specialist, you will manage first-line QA controls in content and process, working with fellow QA Specialists. You will provide expert advice to colleagues in other departments such as compliance, financial framework, senior management, and the business. Your findings will be used to develop improvement plans with management, acting as a professional partner in the AML organization. Key skills include identifying significant risks through understanding laws, (local) regulations, and business insights.

You will collaborate with AML experts on risk assessments, demonstrating decisiveness and ownership. Conduct quality assurance on CDD activities in accordance with Wwft, Policies, and Standards, presenting and report findings clearly and accurately, with a focus on risk management. Adaptability, decisiveness, and clear communication are essential.

In this position, you will have a large stakeholder map at our headquarter and our local offices.

Responsibilities

  • Be a part of the pioneer group building the new quality assurance framework for Saxo Bank
  • Perform quality assurance on private, corporate, and institutional clients
  • Produces monthly reports containing quality assurance results and associated metrics using established procedures.
  • Build and establish knowledge within the team on quality assurance processes and tasks
  • Provides insight into quality gaps identified as part of the quality assurance process and ensures these gaps are communicated to appropriate management and business owners
  • Analyses information gathered to develop recommendations for improvement and changes in current policies and procedures for continued compliance with Saxo Bank's AML Policy and applicable regulations

We are seeking a professional with a proven track record in quality assurance and a strong background in AML and KYC processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools, methods, and concepts related to quality assurance, combined with a solid understanding of relevant regulatory standards. Strong analytical skills in data collection and interpretation are essential, as well as the ability to manage stakeholders effectively and maintain exceptional attention to detail.

You preferably hold certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, ICA, or similar, and have experience working with at least two client segments, including direct, corporate, and institutional clients. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

We conduct interviews on a continuous basis, so please submit your application sooner rather than later.
