The Danish team, consisting of approximately 20 professionals, plays a key role in this transformation. About the Role

As Senior Finance Controller, you'll take full ownership of financial operations in Denmark, acting as the local finance lead and trusted advisor to the Cluster CFO. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll manage everything from daily operations to strategic initiatives, while helping shape the future of Cellnex Denmark during a period of transformation. You'll work autonomously, yet closely with colleagues in Sweden, Spain, and Corporate, contributing to a unified Nordic finance culture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values cross-border collaboration, and is motivated by both operational excellence and strategic influence.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead all financial operations for Denmark, including month-end closings and corporate reporting
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking (KPIs) with strategic insight
  • Oversee accounting, tax, treasury, and audit coordination with autonomy and precision
  • Ensure compliance with ICFR and internal controls (training provided if needed)
  • Champion automation and continuous improvement across finance processes
  • Collaborate with Nordic peers and Group functions (tax, treasury, accounting)
  • Manage and support one experienced accountant, coordinate with external auditors and consultants
  • Act as a key contributor to Denmark's cultural transformation and strategic growth journey

Profile and Personal Traits

  • Experience:
    5+ years in finance, audit, or consultancy (multinational preferred)
  • Tools:
    SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and PBS (SAP Module)
  • Skills:
    Strong hands-on accounting and reporting, ownership mindset, analytical thinking, continuous improvement and results focus
  • Traits:
    Autonomous, committed, collaborative, intellectually curious, and eager to grow
  • Languages:
    Fluent in English; Danish is a plus but not required
  • Leadership:
    Comfortable leading tasks and coordinating across teams; people leadership experience is a plus but not required
