At IKEA, the Fulfillment Operation departments are responsible every day for ensuring the store is well-stocked and ready for our customers by 10:00 AM. This includes unloading trucks, lifting goods to the high storage, and placing items in the sales areas.

We expect that you:

• Are in good physical shape and can handle heavy lifting

• Thrive working in the early morning hours

• Are structured, able to maintain an overview, and focused on order

• Can speak English and enjoy communicating with many colleagues and working in a team

• A forklift certificate is an advantage, but not a requirement

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Fulfillment Operation co-worker, you play an important role in IKEA's sales and customer satisfaction, ensuring that customers never leave empty-handed when shopping for home furnishings. The workday is always busy, as we work toward a strict deadline at 10:00 AM when the store opens.

Your tasks will include:

• Stocking furniture and home accessories such as plates, sofas, lamps, etc., using pallet jacks, manual labor, and possibly forklifts/stackers

• Ensuring accurate inventory through daily counts

• Daily handover to our sales colleagues after operations

• Daily maintenance of the department, including tidying up

• Daily maintenance of machines

Here you will become part of an international team of both fulltime and part-time employees that work towards a common goal. We secure an efficient replenishment of the store and provide good customer service, even though we do not have direct customer contact. We work closely together with all departments, and consequently you gain experience in collaborating with many different types of people. • The position is for an average of 12 hours per week

• Your working hours may vary depending on operational needs, primarily early morning shifts from 04:00–10:20. You should expect to work weekends, both Saturday and Sunday. You can provide input for the work schedule

• Salary within IKEA's wage framework for warehouse/logistics, including pension and flexible benefits, as well as shift allowances

• Other working conditions follow the HK union agreement for salaried employees

Therefore, we work with a sharp deadline at 10 AM, when the store opens. Your tasks will be: - Replenishment of home furnishing accessories such as plates, pillows, lamps, plants etc. on the sales floor using pallet lifter and manual work - Working together and following up with colleagues to keep the store fully stocked - Handling of goods and stock taking, as well as updating IT systems accordingly - Maintenance of machinery and cleaning up the department
