Process and develop new ways to test and ensure quality
In this role, you will be part of the Vivino QA team. You will ensure the quality of Vivino's software products and think from the user/PO perspective to provide valuable inputs to improve the product quality. As part of the QA - Automation & Manual Test Engineering team, you will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining test solutions for iOS/Android/Web applications and backend. You will also help the team find the right balance between test automation and manual testing. This role is focused on both the development and operational aspects of QA, with a balanced emphasis on test design and development, test execution and reporting, automation framework & test suite development and maintenance, and collaborative continuous improvement.

Moreover, Other Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Generate and analyze test reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with the product & development teams to understand the requirements and develop test scenarios accordingly
• Update and maintain test documentation to reflect new features and enhancements
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes
• Contributing to our ongoing QA, AI, and automation initiatives to optimize and modernize our quality processes
• Align with our organizational work culture by actively contributing to the team development

• Several years of relevant experience in both Automation and Manual Testing of Mobile apps, Web applications, APIs, and DBs
• Strong foundation in testing concepts, techniques, and methodologies
• Expertise in functional testing, including test design, data preparation, and execution
• Strong understanding of various test automation frameworks
• Ability to develop automation scripts using BDD approaches and wrapper libraries
• Hands-on experience with licensed or open-source test automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Katalon Studio
• Solid coding skills in any of the following: Ruby, Python, Java, or Groovy
• Experience working in a DevOps environment and within Agile/Scrum teams
• Ability to develop SQL scripts for database validation and testing
• Proficiency in RCA, troubleshooting, test result analysis, and defect tracking
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance QA workflows is a plus
