Enhance Innovation of Hearing Healthcare products

For our product management department at our headquarters in Middelfart, Denmark, we are seeking a Technical Product Manager to manage the maintenance and future development of the products in our Audiometry and hearing aid fitting product portfolio. You will join an exciting business area at the intersection of R&D and Audiology, with innovative projects in the pipeline both short-term and long-term.

Collaboration plays a crucial role, and you will engage with diverse teams to ensure seamless project execution, drawing on your technical know-how and planning skills. Everything we do – we do to enhance the lives of our customers, and you will thrive in this role by understanding how to transform customer insights into technical specifications along with incorporating scientific breakthroughs in the development process.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinate with R&D (hardware and software development) during the entire product lifecycle from idea generation through development to maintenance.
• Provide technical support to our Technical Support departments.
• Prepare internal and external documentation – manuals, technical specifications, product item configurations, etc.
• Conduct product training at customer visits and seminars around the world.
• Tight Collaboration with both the Clinical, Technical, and commercial team members in the audiometry & fitting.

Be the technical integrator and bring products to life

You have a technical background with previous experience from a company that manufactures and sells electrical equipment on a global stage. Experience within audiology or acoustics is valuable but not a prerequisite. We expect you to be detail-oriented and capable of finalizing both minor and major projects.

We imagine that you:

• Have an educational background as an Engineer or a similar technical background which enables you to engage in technical discussions.
• Bring approx. 5 years of experience from a similar role, e.g., from an organization developing electronics products.
• Understand technical aspects of the development of especially the combination between hardware, firmware, and software which enables you to engage in conversations with e.g. our colleagues in R&D.
• Apply an innovative mindset when facing problems and if projects do not go to plan.
• Can communicate the technical agenda to stakeholders across the organization.
• Are equally comfortable with engaging in technical discussions with specialists and scientists as well as connecting with business partners, customers and end users of the products.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite as Interacoustics operates globally.

In product management, we work with various short-term and long-term projects of different complexities. In this position working in a structured and organized way combined with the ability to meet given deadlines will help you succeed. Furthermore, being able to see the projects from a commercial perspective will also be an advantage.

The position includes 20-40 travel days per year.
