As a Service Project Manager in FOSS, you'll be at the forefront of driving projects that are clearly aligned with our ambitions about the tireless focus on improving the Service area.

About us

At FOSS, we create high-tech analytical solutions for the agricultural and food industries. From our Innovation Centre in Hillerød, you will join the Projects & Excellence team, reporting to the Head of Projects & Excellence, Jacob Flemming Rasmussen. The role will specifically take on projects centered around optimization of our Service business, making a difference for more than 300 colleagues across our subsidiaries.

So, what is the job really like?

You will be part of a Projects & Excellence team which includes 10 colleagues, all with different roles within this unit. You take charge by showing how project execution is done for Service within FOSS, having as much a change management approach to your deliverables towards Service. You will take on projects, often with a high degree of uncertainty regarding their scope and benefit, and it will be your task to bring these projects to a state where they can be executed effectively. Following that, you will manage the project by creating and following up on plans, identifying and managing risks and finding and proposing solutions to possible project challenges.

As such, we expect you to bring:

• Proven Project Leadership: Successfully lead and deliver projects on time and within scope
• Expert Problem-Solving: Tackle complex challenges with a strategic mindset, ensuring efficient solutions
• Effective Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
• Proactive Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Strong Communication Skills: Clearly convey project status, updates, and results to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Adaptability and Initiative: Thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of independence and integrity.

Further, you must be comfortable taking charge of our most critical projects within Service. That is not always an easy task. You must be as comfortable talking with senior management as our operational staff as you will be interfacing with different areas within our organization.
