The role

As Tribe Lead, Credit Journey you will lead an agile development organisation and be responsible for the bank's groupwide credit platform covering credit application end-to-end, decisioning, establishment, and collateral management. You will lead multidisciplinary teams (product owners, business analysts, engineers, data & risk specialists, agile coaches) and work in close partnership with Risk, Finance, IT and across multiple Business Units.

Your mission is to:

  • Set the strategic vision for the Credit Journey tribe in line with the bank's Forward '28 strategy.
  • Anticipate and adapt to emerging trends and technologies in credit, risk, and financing to ensure the tribe remains innovative, competitive, and aligned with future customer and regulatory expectations.
  • Lead transformation by redesigning customer journeys, digitise credit processes, improve decision quality, accelerate time-to-decision, and embed a data-first mindset.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing inclusive tribe culture by attract, develop, and retain talent, promote collaboration, and remove barriers between credit, risk, technology, and operations
  • Own tribe OKRs including customer experience (NPS), time-to-decision, efficiency, risk, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Shape the operating model by ensuring clear governance and efficient ways of working with end-to-end accountability
    Represent the tribe in senior leadership forums, drive stakeholder management and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Who you are

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • Extensive leadership experience (10+ years) in credit, financing technology, or banking operations, at least several years leading large teams or tribes.
  • A strong understanding of credit decision-making, risk management, and business development.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with organisational goals, balancing innovation, risk management, and business outcomes.
  • A proven track record in driving digital transformation, preferably in credit, risk, or financing domain using data, analytics, AI, agile ways of working and automation.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to turn strategic into actionable plans and balance growth, risk, and cost.
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management skills with experience negotiating across functions, engaging senior leadership, and aligning diverse teams.
  • A people-first mindset, where you inspire, coach and hold accountable while building inclusive teams and foster continuous learning.
    Fluent in English; Scandinavian language skills are a strong plus.
