VTO's mission is to transform the way Vestas engineers, sources, contracts, manufactures and delivers its products to consistently meet the highest standards for quality, cost efficiency and time-to-market.CPX Quality is responsible for standardizing existing quality activities and deploying new quality controls across regions to ensure a robust Quality Management System (QMS). The team supports the achievement of quality objectives and targets within Customer Project Execution (CPX), with a strong focus on construction quality.The CPX Quality Deployment, Readiness & Non-Conformity team operates within Vestas Quality and plays a key role in ensuring QMS robustness throughout construction projects. The team acts as the primary point of contact for QMS and Quality Management Office stakeholders on all construction quality-related matters.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring preventive quality assurance in construction through baseline package implementation checksVerifying project readiness, both internally and with external subcontractorsMaintaining a closed-loop quality lifecycle in collaboration with product and module owner teamsSupporting the management of supplementary non-conformities (NCs) raised from CPX towards manufacturing factoriesThrough these activities, the team enables consistent quality execution, risk prevention, and continuous improvement across CPX construction projects.ResponsibilitiesDrive a proactive Quality Assurance (QA) mindset within Customer Project Execution (CPX), shifting focus from reactive Quality Control (QC) to early risk preventionEnsure quality deviations in project execution are identified, escalated, and followed up, securing timely implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions. Validate the identification and assessment of failure modes, their effects, root causes, and the robustness of detection and prevention controlsVerify and challenge the PFMEA framework, including scope definition, process boundaries, process flow linkage, and cross-functional team composition. Conduct onsite validations of PFMEA and work instructions, ensuring a closed-loop approach to managing quality risks and issuesProactively challenge high-risk items, ensuring actions are preventive, measurable, time-bound, and effectively mitigate quality risks. Ensure systematic capture and deployment of lessons learned across comparable projects and construction processes to drive continuous improvementReview and validate work instructions from a site and operator perspective, ensuring clarity, usability, and compliance with QMS requirementsIdentify quality gaps through maturity assessments and coordinate mitigation actions with R&D, Product, and other relevant stakeholdersPrepare and issue formal validation reports, including Go/No-Go decisions and defined conditional approval actionsQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in project quality & operations within wind construction (onshore/offshore) or service projectsGood knowledge of PPAP documentation, including process maps, PFMEA, work instructions, control plans, and inspection formsExperience with or good understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemsSix Sigma and/or Project Management certification is beneficialExcellent command of English, both written and spokenCompetenciesWe are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following competencies and personal attributes:Strong sense of urgency and ownership mindset, with a clear focus on continuous improvement and results deliveryDemonstrated customer focus, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across culturesProven experience influencing and working with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders in large, multinational organizationsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including customer quality engagement and partnership managementSolid knowledge and practical application of quality tools and methodologiesProcess-oriented mindset with the ability to think strategically and drive sustainable improvementsComfortable working at height and in construction site environmentsWhat We OfferWe offer you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a multicultural, diverse, and inclusive international organization.
