Are you passionate about making the world a safer place and leaving your mark on the world we live in? Are you a curious, creative, and flexible verifier, who knows about major hazards, current offshore codes, and practices?
Then apply and become part of Bureau Veritas Denmark's team of experienced Surveyors and Verification Engineers.
Welcome to Bureau Veritas
With one of the world's strongest brands behind you, you get the opportunity to make a difference in a global company. Bureau Veritas is one of the leading Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) companies. We perform more than 7,500 company visits annually in Denmark, and we are driven by making a difference in the world we live in.
Join an industry leader
At Bureau Veritas you will become a part of a large international organization with the objective of delivering excellence to our high-profile clients, including some of the world's most recognized brands. With this comes the chance of being a part of large, challenging, but exciting projects.
Your role is very important for the safety of the Danish offshore assets in the North Sea. You will make a difference by contributing to maintaining the safety, reliability, and integrity of our clients' assets throughout their life cycle.
Your responsibilities will primarily require desk work from our office on assessing maintenance records, as-built packages and PM on modification projects related to offshore. This will be combined with visits to our customers onshore, inspecting newly built equipment as well as traveling offshore to verify compliance with maintenance systems of safety and environmental critical equipment. The typical involvement with offshore operations is shorter trips totaling 30-40 days offshore per year. As part of our Verification Team, your base will be at our Esbjerg office.
To remain an industry leader, our employees are a priority. Therefore, we offer a wide variety of opportunities and possibilities for progressing and excelling one's job. We offer you the opportunity to make a difference and leave your mark in a global and sustainable organization.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a colleague who has a positive and solution-oriented mindset. You demonstrate systematic and analytical capabilities, with an ability to share your knowledge in a clear and constructive manner. You thrive in multidisciplinary technical environments, and you are curious and eager to learn.
You can provide pragmatic and balanced perspectives on (process) safety, with the ability to understand complex situations from a broader holistic viewpoint.
As minimum requirements, we expect that:
- You hold a master's degree in engineering (petroleum engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering) and have minimum three years of experience in engineering, consulting, or conformity assessment in relation to the offshore oil and gas industry
or a bachelor's degree with at least five years' experience in relation to the offshore oil and gas industry.
- You are willing to go offshore and fulfill medical requirements applicable in the North Sea.
- You have good English skills, written and verbal
- You are thorough, structured and have good reporting skills.
Good Danish skills, both in writing and verbal, as well as experience with Unisol and Excel is a strong advantage.
Are you our new colleague?
Are you interested and ready to leave your mark?
We encourage anyone to reply. Diversity is very important at Bureau Veritas. Can you make a difference every day to shape a world of trust?
Submit your application by clicking 'apply' as soon as possible. We close for recruitment once the vacant positions are filled.
