The Corporate Strategy team partners closely with Vestas' CEO and Executive Management to orchestrate the company's strategic planning and enable execution of initiatives that secure Vestas' long-term competitiveness. We operate globally across the five Vestas Regions and the value chain with high autonomy, accountability, exposure and focus from top management. Responsibilities  As a Head of Corporate Strategic Planning, you will be responsible for Vestas' annual global strategic planning process. You will ensure alignment across all business areas and regions, working closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans. Your extended team will include the functional and regional strategy anchors that you will be closely collaborating with to deliver on the annual planning process.  Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Strategy, Global Intelligence and M&A, you will be responsible for: Managing Vestas' annual global strategic planning process, formulating Vestas' business plan and ensuring alignment with financial planning and corporate prioritiesFacilitating strategic alignment across business areas and regions, supporting executive leadership in defining priorities and strategiesContributing to the Executive Strategy Offsites and the annual Board of Directors Strategy Seminar, including collaboration with regional and functional strategy anchors to ensure global alignment and integration of prioritiesPrepare and deliver high-quality updates, recommendations, and insights to the Executive Management Team and other key stakeholdersQualifications  To thrive in this role, you should be an experienced consultant with Corporate Strategy experience, ideally gained in capital goods, energy, or utilities industries. Further, we expect you to bring the following:Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or in-house strategy roles within complex, global organizationsUniversity degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or similarDemonstrated experience leading strategic planning processes and managing a complex stakeholder galleryComfortable interacting with senior and executive management; directing decisions and guiding complex discussions in an efficient, fact-based mannerExtensive knowledge of industry dynamics from financial, competitive, operational, and regulatory perspectivesExperience of working in a complex, international corporate culture Proficient English communication skills (written and spoken)Competencies  Strategic mindset with advanced analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)Profound interpersonal skills, culture affinity and an open, straightforward, and unpretentious style Versatile communicator, proficient in stakeholder management and able to effectively engage internally and externallyStructured and strategic, able to set agendas and maintain clarity in complex environmentsHave attention to detail and deliver high-quality results at paceHigh drive, integrity, and ability to easily navigate diverse functions and culturesWhat we offer  An exciting role in a global, purpose-driven company focused on advancing renewable energy solutions.
