Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing and maintaining scalable, robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support HR modernisation
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Leading the migration to cloud-based infrastructure and modernising ETL tools and processes
• Engage in DevOps aspects of data engineering, including setting up, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
• Ensuring data quality and governance by implementing frameworks that guarantee accuracy, consistency and compliance
• Building and promoting best practices in data engineering while staying informed on emerging technologies
• Driving technical innovation and contributing to the broader organisational digitalisation journey

About you:

• Experience working with all ETL aspects as well as data integrations and data modelling
• Significant experience with cloud platforms and its native services (AWS or DataBricks would be an advantage)
• Proven expertise with performant SQL and solid coding skills, preferably in data-friendly languages such as Python
• Knowledge of data design patterns, including data lakehouse and data warehousing concepts
• Close familiarity with mature development practices (like CI/CD, Git for versioning, etc.)
• Already familiar or at least eager to learn about IaC tools like Terraform
• Advanced English skills coupled with a sense of ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities for team or stakeholder collaboration. Commitment to staying updated with latest industry trends and possibilities
• NICE TO HAVE: hands-on experience with orchestration tools for managing data workflows, business intelligence (BI) and data visualisation tools (like Tableau), APIs

We offer:
This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania.
If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range will be from 4560 to 6840 EUR monthly (based on your skills relevant for the job).
