Your Key Responsibilities

  • Animal Welfare: Perform ante-mortem inspections and supervise animal transport during unloading procedures.
  • Food Safety: Carry out control tasks related to hygiene, export, and quality, including audits and certification.
  • Health Management: Manage tasks on the slaughter line related to diseased animals and suspected diagnoses.
  • Official Communication: Uphold your role as a professional authority with clear and precise communication, even in high-pressure situations.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A degree in Veterinary Medicine and the mandatory Danish authorization to practice (or the eligibility to obtain it with our assistance).
  • Advanced level of proficiency in English and a strong motivation to quickly learn Danish (oral and written).
  • An authoritative and professional demeanor with the ability to take responsibility.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to learn new IT systems.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A holder of a valid B or BE driver's license.

What We Offer

  • Salary: A competitive monthly salary ranging from 38,000 DKK to 46,000 DKK, determined according to the applicable collective agreement.
  • Pension: A generous and highly competitive 18.07% pension plan.
  • Allowances: Includes a special holiday allowance as part of the benefits package.
  • Working Hours: This is a shift-based role with hours varying by location, typically scheduled between 5:00 AM and 9:30 PM.
