TL;DR:
We're a fintech startup building in public. You'll own our founder-to-camera videos (YouTube + shorts), turn raw ideas into bingeable edits, and help shape a channel that actually drives growth—not just vibes.

What you'll do

  • Own the pipeline end-to-end:
    plan shoots, direct the founder, edit, add kinetic text/SFX, and ship—fast.
  • Cut for platforms:
    weekly YouTube (8–15 min) + a steady drumbeat of shorts for TikTok/Reels/Shorts/LinkedIn.
  • Engineer hooks:
    craft cold opens, titles, and thumbnails that make people stop scrolling.
  • Build a reusable style:
    captions, lower thirds, transitions, color choices—consistent but not boring.
  • Measure & iterate:
    watch retention, test variants, keep a "hook leaderboard," and double down on what works.
  • Pitch stories:
    turn everyday startup chaos—launches, hiring, investor days, fails—into watchable arcs.

You might be a fit if you

  • Have a strong portfolio of
    talking-head → story
    transformations (before/after welcome).
  • Cut fast without losing narrative; you're native to meme pacing and modern captioning.
  • Are comfy directing on-camera talent (beats, energy, retakes).
  • Can work rapidly (same-day/24h on shorts when needed) and keep files tidy.
  • Know your way around a modern NLE + basic motion graphics (we have/will get the gear you need).

Nice-to-haves (not musts):
light 3D/logo moments, sound design finesse, thumbnail/title chops, set dressing.
