Your role in our team

As our new Project Manager in R&D in Søborg, you will lead development and internal change projects through the integrated product development process, from initiation to handover to production, service, or directly to our customers.

You will be part of the Projects & Solutions Department, where you will work closely with a dedicated Project Core Team to ensure that all R&D projects are managed professionally across Terma and across all product development disciplines. In Søborg, our development work focuses on the maritime domain, covering system integration, design, validation, and innovation in software, electrical, and mechanical projects.

You will join a diverse and inclusive team represented by different genders, ages, and backgrounds – something we value highly as it strengthens collaboration and innovation. Because you will be supporting R&D projects across sites, some travel between Lystrup and Søborg should be expected.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include:

• Drive project initiation, proactive risk management, and ensure persistent follow-through throughout project execution, continuously improving processes and applying best practices
• Lead and coordinate software and systems engineering teams, map dependencies, allocate resources, and keep schedules on track
• Engage with key stakeholders, including management and customers, to ensure transparency, align expectations, and deliver sustainable results
• Monitor project budgets, economy, and reporting to ensure successful and profitable delivery

Bring your world class expertise into play

You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably within Engineering, Administration, or related technical discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager within product development, new product introduction, or as a technical lead/team lead for product or innovation projects
• Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with MS Project and JIRA is an advantage
• Certification in project or change management methods is an advantage, e.g., Prince2, SAFe (including Agile), ADKAR
