The role:
We are looking for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant to support our operations across Denmark, Norway, and Finland. This is a 12-month assignment with potential for extension. The consultant will help us achieve key EHS objectives, ensure compliance with local regulations, and provide hands-on support at our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop & Implement EHS Objectives: Support sites through auditing, analysis, documentation, and reporting to management via dashboards and reports.
-Compliance Audits: Supervise and evaluate EHS program compliance through audits and inspections.
-Training: Deliver EHS training sessions onsite.
-Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local legal requirements, including people and environmental risk exposure for field, office, and warehouse employees.
-Risk Assessments: Conduct general and specific site risk assessments (e.g., slips, trips & falls, fire risk assessments).
(Note: Some tasks may be completed remotely depending on the nature of the assessment.)
Requirements:
-Proven experience in EHS consulting within Nordic countries.
-Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements in Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
-Ability to travel when necessary.
-Excellent communication and reporting skills.
