We are looking for a skilled and business-minded Senior Business Controller to join the Finance business partnering team in Agriculture Business Unit within DLG Group. In this role, you will act as a key financial partner between Group Functions in DLG and the Agriculture Business unit, ensuring solid financial processes, driving performance, and enabling sound decision-making through data-driven insights.

The Agriculture business unit is at the forefront of innovation and operational excellence in farming, delivering solutions across production, feed and crop supply and logistics. With key locations in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden, the unit achieved a turnover of 30 billion DKK in 2024.

This is a great opportunity to take on a role with broad business exposure, contribute to strategic projects, and play a central part in building a unified and high-performing Agri Finance team.

The role
As Senior Business Controller, you will work closely between Finance Business Partnering teams in Agri and with Finance Operations, FP&A, and leaders across Group Functions to ensure strong financial management and compliance. You will act as the first point of contact for finance related processes within Agri and contribute to the ongoing development of reporting standards, process improvements, and financial transparency across the business.

You Will

  • Ensure all financial controls are executed and documented according to Group standards
  • Drive reporting processes and prepare consolidated presentations for month-end closing, budgets, forecasts, and Business Board reviews
  • Provide feedback to FP&A on process challenges, structural needs, and improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate and support strategic and operational projects across functions and countries, including business cases and performance reviews

Your profile
You are a strong finance professional who thrives in a dynamic and international environment. You enjoy combining analytical depth with collaboration and communication, and you take pride in ensuring high-quality financial processes and reporting.

Your Background Includes

  • A relevant finance degree (e.g., MSc, , HD(R), or similar)
  • Several years of experience as a senior controller, preferably in an international company
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, controls, and management reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on structure and accuracy
  • The ability to communicate clearly and build trust across functions, countries, and cultures
  • Fluency in English
