What does a
Senior Editor
do at Hogarth?
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Editor to join our growing team in Hogarth Copenhagen on a permanent basis. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the post-production of high-quality video and multimedia content for world-class campaigns, ensuring that every project meets Hogarth's standards for creativity, precision, and brand impact.

As a Senior Editor, you will collaborate closely with producers, creatives, and clients to craft compelling stories, bringing concepts to life with technical expertise and creative flair. You will act as a key point of contact in post-production, ensuring deadlines are met, workflows are smooth, and the final output exceeds client expectations.

You will play a critical role in shaping the quality and style of Hogarth Denmark's work, mentoring junior editors, and contributing to best practices across the team, all while enjoying the vibrant office culture and benefits that make Hogarth Denmark a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post-Production Leadership: Lead editing for a range of projects, from concept through to final delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and creative excellence.
  • Collaboration with Creative & Production Teams: Work closely with producers, directors, and creative teams to realize project visions, provide creative input, and solve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the post-production point of contact for clients when needed, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on creative direction and deadlines.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Support and mentor junior editors, fostering skill development and a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Technical & Creative Innovation: Stay up to date with post-production trends, tools, and techniques, introducing innovative approaches to enhance the quality and efficiency of content production.
  • Workflow & Quality Assurance: Oversee editing workflows, manage project timelines, and ensure deliverables meet Hogarth's high-quality standards.

Reporting line:
This role reports to the
Executive Producer.
Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in editing for advertising, branded content, or creative production.
  • Proven expertise in post-production software and tools
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual narrative.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with producers, directors, and clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading junior editors is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a global agency or with multinational clients is a plus.
